Description
The Balkan clary 'Caradonna' (Salvia nemorosa) is an upright, slender perennial that forms purple, lip-shaped flowers arranged in panicles from June to July. Repeated flowering occurs in September with proper care. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 60 cm and grows to around 40 cm wide. The Balkan clary 'Caradonna' is well tolerant of frost.
