Description
The Balkan clary 'Amethyst' (Salvia nemorosa) is a bushy, upright perennial that produces magenta-coloured, lip-shaped flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance from June to September. Repeated flowering occurs in September with the right care. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and grows approx. 40 cm wide. The Balkan clary 'Amethyst' is well tolerant of frost.
