Description
The Balkan clary 'Viola Klose' (Salvia nemorosa) is a bushy, upright perennial that produces dark blue, lip-shaped flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance from May to June. Repeated flowering occurs in August with proper care. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows approx. 40 cm wide. The Balkan clary 'Viola Klose' is well tolerant of frost.
