Description
The Common sage 'Icterina' (Salvia officinalis) is a bushy, compact, winter-green perennial with decorative, egg-shaped, whole-margined, grey-green leaves with yellow edges. It bears light blue, lip-shaped flowers from June to August. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Common sage 'Icterina' is well tolerant of frost.
