Description
The Meadow clary (Salvia pratensis) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces blue-violet, lip-shaped flowers arranged in spikes from June to August. Its heart-shaped leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Meadow clary is well tolerant of frost.
