Description
The Schwarzer Holunder 'Laced Up'® (Sambucus nigra) is an upright, columnar large shrub that produces pinkish-white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters with a light fragrance. They appear from June to July. These produce black, round fruits from August. They exude a light fragrance. The Schwarzer Holunder 'Laced Up'® also has pinnate, black-red leaves. Its bark is grey, corky and longitudinally furrowed. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humusy, calcareous, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 m.
