Description
The Red-berried elder 'Plumosa Aurea' (Sambucus racemosa) is a bushy, upright, picturesque shrub with decorative, red fruits. It produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in panicles from April to May. The Red-berried elder 'Plumosa Aurea' also has pinnate, golden-yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to a width of around 2.5 metres.
