Description
The Red-berried elder 'Sutherland Gold' (Sambucus racemosa) is a bushy shrub with decorative, red fruits. These exude a strong fragrance. It produces white flowers from April to May. The Red-berried elder 'Sutherland Gold' also has yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
