Description
The Red-berried elder 'Golden Lace' (Sambucus racemosa) is a bushy, upright, picturesque shrub or small shrub with decorative, scarlet-red, round fruits. These exude a light fragrance. It produces creamy white flowers arranged in panicles from May to June. The Red-berried elder 'Golden Lace' also has pinnate, yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 m and grows to around 1.5 m wide.
