Description
The Sanguisorba officinalis 'Red Thunder' (Sanguisorba officinalis) is an upright perennial that produces dark red flowers arranged in spikes from August to September. Its pinnate leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.4 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Sanguisorba officinalis 'Red Thunder' is well tolerant of frost.
