Description
The Soapwort 'Alba Plena' (Saponaria officinalis) is a runner-forming, carpet-like perennial that produces white, star-shaped flowers with a light fragrance from June to September. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Soapwort 'Alba Plena' is well tolerant of frost.
