Description
The Sweet box 'Purple Stem' (Sarcococca hookeriana) is a bushy, compact small shrub that produces white-pink flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from December to March. These produce black-blue, round fruits. They are small and exude a pleasant fragrance. The Sweet box 'Purple Stem' also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.3 m and grows to a width of approx. 2 m.
