Description
The Spalthortensie (Schizophragma hydrangeoides) is a climbing, shrub-like deciduous plant that produces white flowers. They appear from June to July. The Spalthortensie also has heart-shaped, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
