Description
With its medium green leaves, the Kaffir lily 'Mrs. Hegarty' (Schizostylis coccinea) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, cutting and bee pasture. Pink-coloured flowers appear from March to April. It prefers well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Kaffir lily 'Mrs. Hegarty' is well tolerant of frost. The upright, runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm.
