Description
With its bronze-red leaf colouring, the Kopfried (Schoenus pauciflorus) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright and clump-forming growth. The reddish-brown flower fronds adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with undemanding soil. In favourable conditions, this grass reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.
Leaves
The evergreen leaves of the Kopfrieds are bronze-red, linear.

New Zealand.
Growth
Upright, clump-forming.

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.
