Description
The Umbrella pine 'Sternschnuppe' (Sciadopitys verticillata) is a small tree or shrub that grows broadly in a conical shape and usually reaches a height of around 2.5 metres and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its needle-shaped, glossy leaves are dark green in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, lime-free, nutrient-rich soil in a semi-shady location.
