Description
The Umbrella pine (Sciadopitys verticillata) is a small tree that grows conical and slender and usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and a width of around 4 metres. Its needle-shaped, glossy leaves have a medium green colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, lime-free, nutrient-rich soil in a semi-shady position.
