Description
The Common figwort (Scrophularia nodosa) is an upright perennial that produces red-brown flowers from July to August. Its heart-shaped, toothed leaves are medium green. In a semi-shady to shady location with nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1 metre. The Common figwort is well tolerant of frost.
