Description
The Helmet flower (Scutellaria baicalensis) is an upright perennial that forms purple, lip-shaped flowers arranged in panicles from July to September. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Helmet flower is well tolerant of frost.
