Description
The brown flower spikes adorn this grass from summer onwards. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows up to 40 cm wide.

Growth habit
Dense, clump-forming.

The plant needs plenty of water. Do not allow the soil to dry out.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
If watered less frequently but thoroughly and thoroughly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.

The brown flowers appear in spikes from June to July.
