Description
The Skimmie 'Kew White' (Skimmia japonica) is a bushy, broad-spreading small shrub with decorative, white, round fruits that remain on the plant for a very long time. These give off a strong fragrance. Prior to this, from April to May, it produces white flowers arranged in panicles. Skimmie 'Kew White' also has leathery, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a semi-shaded position with humus-rich, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.2 m.
