Description
The Skimmia 'Perosa'® (Skimmia japonica) is a bushy, compact small shrub with decorative, red, round fruits that stay on for a very long time. These exude a strong fragrance. It produces white flowers arranged in panicles from April to May. The Skimmia 'Perosa'® also has leathery, lanceolate, grey-green leaves with a creamy white edge. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide.
