Description
The Golden rod (Solidago virgaurea) is an upright perennial that forms yellow flowers arranged in clusters from July to September. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Golden rod makes no particular demands on the soil. The Golden rod is well tolerant of frost.
