Description
The Japanese pagoda tree 'Princeton Upright' (Sophora japonica) is an egg-shaped tree with decorative, green, pod-shaped fruits. In July, it produces creamy white, butterfly-shaped flowers arranged in clusters. The Japanese pagoda tree 'Princeton Upright' also has pinnate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with calcareous, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres.
