Description
The Mountain ash 'Schouten' (Sorbus arnoldiana) is an ovoid small tree that produces white flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from May to June. These produce orange-yellow, round fruits from August. The Mountain ash 'Schouten' also has pinnate, dark green leaves. Its bark is grey and flaking. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 10 metres.
