Description
The Japanese rowan 'Fireball' (Sorbus commixta) is an upright, large shrub or small tree with decorative, orange-red, round fruits. Before these appear, it produces white flowers from May to June. The Japanese rowan 'Fireball' also has pinnate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 m and spreads to around 4 m.
