Description
The Hubei rowan (Sorbus hupehensis) is an upright large shrub or small tree with decorative, white-pink coloured, round fruits that remain on the tree for a very long time. It produces yellowish flowers arranged in umbrella clusters in May. The Hubei rowan also has pinnate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres. The Hubei rowan makes no particular demands on the soil.
