Description
The Persian service tree (Sorbus intermedia) is a small, ovoid tree with decorative, red, round fruits that keep for a very long time. It produces creamy white flowers arranged in umbrella clusters from May to June. The Persian service tree also bears leathery, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 7 metres.
