Description
The Mountain ash 'Purple Magic' (Sorbus) is a large, upright shrub with decorative, purple-red, round fruits. These are large and exude a light fragrance. It produces white flowers arranged in umbels from May to June. The Mountain ash 'Purple Magic' also has pinnate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide. The Mountain ash 'Purple Magic' makes no particular demands on the soil.
