Description
With its medium green leaves, the Branched bur reed (Sparganium erectum) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as tubs, pond edges and ponds. Green-brown flowers appear from June to July. It prefers humusy, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The upright, runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm.
