Description
The Hardhack (Spiraea douglasii var. menziesii) is an upright garden plant that produces dark pink-coloured flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from June to August. The Hardhack also has medium green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2.5 metres and grows to around 1.5 metres wide.
