The Japanese spiraea 'Dart´s Red' (Spiraea japonica) is a bushy, upright, broad small shrub that produces carmine-red flowers arranged in umbrella clusters. They appear from June to September. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 80 cm wide.
