Description
The Japanese spirea 'White Carpet' (Spiraea nipponica) is a funnel-shaped, overhanging shrub that produces white flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from May to June. The Japanese spirea 'White Carpet' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves with a medium green colour. Its bark is dark brown. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and is approx. 1.2 m wide.
