Description
The Lamb's ear 'Silver Carpet' (Stachys byzantina) is an upright, runner-forming perennial that forms purple flowers arranged in whorls from June to July. Its egg-shaped, hairy leaves are silver-grey. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Lamb's ear 'Silver Carpet' is well tolerant of frost.
