Description
The Wood betony (Stachys officinalis) is an upright perennial that produces pink, lip-shaped flowers from July to August. Its heart-shaped, toothed leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Wood betony is well tolerant of frost.
