Description
With its green, toothed leaves, the Marsh Woundwort (Stachys palustris) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges and streams. Purple flowers appear from June to August. It prefers well-drained, lime-free soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Marsh Woundwort is well tolerant of frost. The runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm.
