Description
The Chinese stachyurus 'Celina' (Stachyurus chinensis) is an upright, broad shrub with decorative, round fruits. These are small. It produces light yellow flowers arranged in spikes from March to April. The Chinese stachyurus 'Celina' also has egg-shaped, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to around 4 metres wide.
