Stewartia sinensis - 50-60 CM C5

Description
The Chinese stewartia (Stewartia sinensis) is a broad, egg-shaped, picturesque large shrub that produces white, cup-shaped flowers. These appear in June. Brown fruits develop from these. The Chinese stewartia also bears egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is reddish-brown. In a semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 m and spreads to around 4 m.
