Description
The Mexican feather grass (Stipa tenuifolia) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out thanks to its clump-forming growth. The creamy white flower plumes adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with sandy soil that is as well-drained and rich in nutrients as possible. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows up to 35 cm wide.
