Description
The Japanese snowbell 'Snowcone'® (Styrax japonicus) is a broad, branched large shrub with decorative, creamy white, oval fruits. These exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces creamy white, bell-shaped flowers arranged in clusters from June to July. The Japanese snowbell 'Snowcone'® also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6.5 metres and grows to around 6 metres wide.
