Description
The Lilac 'Esther Staley' (Syringa hyacinthiflora) is an upright, loose, large shrub that produces magenta-coloured flowers arranged in panicles with a strong fragrance. They appear from May to June. The Lilac 'Esther Staley' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny, sheltered location with humusy, loose, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to around 4 metres wide.
