Description
The Lilac (Syringa protolaciniata) is a bushy, broad small shrub that produces lilac-coloured flowers with a strong fragrance. They appear in May. The Lilac also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres. The Lilac makes no particular demands on the soil.
