Description
The Lilac (Syringa swegiflexa) is an upright, funnel-shaped, overhanging large shrub that produces dark pink-coloured flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from June to July. The Lilac also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, lime-free, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to a width of around 3.5 metres.
