Description
The Common lilac 'Prince Wolkonsky' (Syringa vulgaris) is an upright, dense, branched large shrub that produces purple-pink flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance. They appear in May. The Common lilac 'Prince Wolkonsky' also has heart-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 6 m and is approx. 5 m wide.
