Description
The Red tamarisk 'Rubra' (Tamarix ramosissima) is a sprawling, loose, large shrub that produces carmine-red flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from July to September. The Red tamarisk 'Rubra' also has scaly, blue-green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and is around 3 metres wide.
