Description
The Swamp cypress 'Peve Minaret' (Taxodium distichum) is a large tree or shrub that grows cone-shaped and usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and a width of around 2 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are light green in colour. They turn a beautiful red-brown in autumn. Decorative brown cones adorn Taxodium distichum 'Peve Minaret' from October. This shrub tolerates frost well. It prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil in a sunny, sheltered position.
