Description
The English yew 'Fastigiata Aureomarginata' (Taxus baccata) is a large shrub that grows columnar and slender and usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and a width of around 2.5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves have a medium green colour. Decorative red cones adorn Taxus baccata 'Fastigiata Aureomarginata' from September. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
