Description
The English yew 'Green Rocket' (Taxus baccata) is a small tree or shrub that grows columnar and slender and usually reaches a height of approx. 2 m and a width of approx. 50 cm. Its leaves are dark green in colour. Decorative red cones adorn Taxus baccata 'Green Rocket' from September. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
