Description
The Reispapierbaum 'Rex' (Tetrapanax papyrifer) is a shrub with decorative, purple-red, flat fruits. These are small. It produces yellow-white, wheel-shaped flowers arranged in panicles from October to December. The Reispapierbaum 'Rex' also has roundish, hairy, medium green leaves. In a semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.

Leaves
The evergreen leaves of the Reispapierbaum 'Rex' are medium green, roundish, hairy and lobed. They are about 50 - 75 cm tall.
