Description
The Germander (Teucrium hyrcanicum) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces red flowers arranged in spikes with a pleasant fragrance from June to October. Its egg-shaped, serrated leaves are grey-green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Germander is well tolerant of frost.
